Xiaomi Book Pro 14 Launches With More Battery Life Than MacBook Pro 14

Xiaomi has officially launched the Xiaomi Book Pro 14, expanding its premium laptop lineup. The new model focuses on delivering powerful performance while maintaining an ultra-thin and lightweight design.

But the catch here is that the Xiaomi Book Pro 14 with Intel Core Ultra X7 is claimed to beat Apple’s MacBook Pro 14 with a whopping 19.8 hours of battery life.

Xiaomi Book Pro 14 is equipped with a 72Wh battery. According to Xiaomi’s benchmarks, it can complete 15.8 hours of online meetings before dying, compared to 15.6 hours for the MacBook Pro. For streaming, Xiaomi’s laptop can handle 12.4 hours, while the MacBook Pro can handle 12.1 hours.

Design and Display

Xiaomi Book Pro 14 uses premium materials to reduce weight without compromising durability. According to Xiaomi president Lu Weibing, the laptop features a unibody die-cast magnesium alloy chassis that is about 30% lighter than traditional aluminum designs.

The weight of the laptop is only 1.08 kg, which Xiaomi achieved by applying smartphone-style stacking technology to the laptop architecture. The device is also designed to act as a central hub for the Xiaomi HyperConnect ecosystem, allowing it to seamlessly interact with other Xiaomi devices running HyperOS.

The bottom panel uses 3D hot-pressed high-strength carbon fiber to further reduce weight while maintaining structural strength. Xiaomi also used lightweight titanium alloy on the internal keyboard support plate. Xiaomi Book Pro 14 is available in three color options: Soft Fog Blue, White and Elegant Grey.

This laptop features a 14-inch display inside a chassis that is just 14.95mm thick.

Internal and software

Xiaomi Book Pro 14 is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H processor. The chip includes a 16-core configuration and 18MB of L3 cache, and is built using Intel’s 18A manufacturing process.

As for graphics, the laptop features 12Xe integrated graphics that Xiaomi says delivers around 70% higher performance with lower power consumption compared to the previous generation.

The system uses large 10000mm² vapor chamber cooling modules combined with high-speed, quiet fans. This setup allows the laptop to sustain up to 50W of performance.

Configurations reportedly include up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage, which should support tasks like 4K video editing and AAA gaming.

The laptop runs the latest version of the Xiaomi operating system, optimized for productivity and cross-device collaboration within the HyperConnect ecosystem.

price

Xiaomi has not yet announced an official launch date or global pricing. However, based on the specifications, the device is expected to be positioned as a premium laptop in the market.
