Human Rights Watch said it had found evidence that Israel violated international humanitarian law by firing artillery shells containing white phosphorus into residential areas in the southern Lebanon village of Yomor on March 3.
The human rights group also documented Israel’s use of white phosphorus in southern Lebanon border towns between October 2023 and May 2024.
