A federal judge on Saturday invalidated her firing from the Voice of America (VOA) while also ruling that Kari Lake, acting CEO of the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM), illegally ran the independent federal agency. U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth in Washington, D.C., wrote that Lake oversaw media organizations in violation of the Constitution’s Appointments Clause.
