Realme has expanded its C series lineup in India by launching the Realme C83 5G, a budget smartphone with a large 7,000mAh battery and high refresh rate display.
Design and Display
Realme C83 5G features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display supports up to 900 nits of peak brightness and offers a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz.
The device is 8.4mm thick and weighs 212g. It is IP64 rated for dust and water resistance and meets MIL-STD 810H durability standards. Additional hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and single speaker. Realme C83 5G is available in Blooming Purple and Sprouting Green.
Internal and software
The smartphone runs on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot supporting up to 2TB.
The phone comes with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. Connectivity options include dual SIM support, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, and GPS.

On the rear, the Realme C83 5G is equipped with a single 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. For selfies, it is equipped with a 5MP front camera.
Battery and Price
The device is powered by a 7,000mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. Pricing starts at $145 for the 4GB/64GB model. The price is $160 for the 4GB/128GB model and $190 for the 6GB/128GB model.
