President Trump and major technology companies announced Wednesday an agreement to make the tech giants cover the costs of the power they consume as the development of artificial intelligence (AI) shows no signs of stopping. Google, Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, xAI, OpenAI and Amazon have agreed to sign the “Ratepayer Protection Pledge,” the White House said Wednesday.
