Watch Honor’s first humanoid robot evolve from a clumsy prototype to a sleek dancer.

Honor had a busy day at MWC 2026 on Monday, showcasing its Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) vision and its ALPHA PLAN, which seeks to transform the company into a leader in the human-centric AI ecosystem.

In addition to unveiling its highly anticipated and quirky robot phone, the Chinese company also introduced MWC attendees to its first humanoid robot, the rather unimaginatively named Honor Robot.

Honor’s bipedal robot took the stage during the special event and performed a dance routine alongside several professional human dancers. You may have wondered how long it would be before they were replaced by increasingly more advanced devices with impressive moves.

As the human performers danced, the Honor Robot, which must be said to be very similar in size and design to Unitree’s G1 robot, strutted onto the stage and launched into a moonwalk that would have made Michael Jackson himself proud.

Next, in an impressive show of faith, Honor CEO James Li took the stage to interact with the robot. which It wasn’t calamity. Li even asked Honor Robot to do a somersault, which Honor Robot did expertly.

In another video (below), the tech company revealed just how far its new humanoid robot has come, with a clip showing it falling over in the most awkward way possible.

Without giving too much away, Honor said the robot will focus on three core scenarios: shopping assistance, workplace inspection, and supportive companionship.

When it comes to supportive companionship, the company said in its announcement that it plans to build embodied AI devices that can recognize people, understand their needs, and provide personalized physical support from the first interaction.

Honor is entering a highly competitive field, with numerous companies already vying for supremacy. Nonetheless, with the right strategy and bold innovation, Honor could have the opportunity to carve out its own niche.
