Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq continues as Pak Army gets Control of Afghan Taliban Central Posts

PESHAWAR – Tensions have exploded on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border amid reports that the central border post has been captured amid fierce clashes.

According to sources, the Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq campaign is in full swing and the sudden expansion of troops has taken control of strategic strongholds of the Afghan Taliban.

Security officials said there was a strong response to the Taliban’s move as Pakistani troops launched a rapid counter-offensive along the border. Eyewitness accounts and newly released footage show Pakistani troops advancing towards the disputed facility over a security fence near North Waziristan in broad daylight on February 28, 2026.

According to security sources, Taliban fighters retreated upon the arrival of Pakistani troops. The military then regained control of the central post, cleared surrounding buildings and dismantled hostile positions. Enemy flags were reportedly taken down in what officials described as a decisive operation.

However, the situation is still fluid. Operation Ghazab al-Haq is still ongoing and authorities insist it will continue until all objectives are achieved. The two sides have traded accusations of aggression, and local observers have warned that a confrontation could further escalate cross-border tensions.
