Puzzled fight fans can’t seem to figure out why.
Masvidal has 35 career MMA wins, but has only two submission wins and hasn’t secured a tap in over a decade. Still, that’s two more submissions than Magomedov has had in 17 professional fights. In fact, “Bullet” has not recorded a single takedown under the UFC banner.
I wonder how many competitors said no before Hype called out Masvidal and Magomedov.
The Hype Brazil ticket page also has a poster for a fight between UFC fighters Arman Tsarukyan and Colby Covington, but no official announcement has been made.
More announcements are expected for the March 11 fight card in the coming days.
