In a major escalation late last night, India reportedly launched a cowardly attack targeting Sheikh Zayed International Airport. The attack structurally damaged the facility, a symbol of friendship between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
Built in 1993, the airport is named after the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and has long symbolized bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The attack followed another attempted attack by India on Nankana Sahib, a city of deep religious and cultural significance. These provocative actions are seen as part of India’s growing war hysteria and aggressive posture in the region.
Tensions continue to rise as India’s hostile actions have prompted accusations of reckless and shameful targeting of symbols of peace and civilian infrastructure.
