Stonelake Capital tops out River Oaks area office tower


Stonelake Capital Partners set a construction milestone at the 200 Park Place office tower at 4200 Westheimer.

Harby Builders celebrated Wednesday a 12-foot-tall Eagleleston Holly on top of a 15-story building. This tree will be used on the outdoor terrace on the 9th floor of the tower, which began in September this year.

Representatives of the project team, including owners and developers Stonelake, Beck Architecture, and Harvey Builders, signed the final steel beams at the event.

210,000 sq ft tower places 11.5 acres of park | Development of mixed use of River Oaks in Westheimer and Mid Lane. Joined The James and The Ivy residential buildings, completed in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Formerly called the Place Place Tower, the building has a ground floor restaurant, a landscaped terrace for tenants, a conference center and a tenant lounge. Central Park in Park Place | River Oaks will be a place for various programs.

So far, 200 Park Park is 30{7be40b84a6a43fc4fae13304fce9a2695859798abfc41afd127b9f8b21c5f9c5} rented, with Compass Real Estate, Charles Schwab and Stonelake being the initial tenants. Stonelake said the project will sign a 65 percent lease. Brad Beasley and Conor Saxe at Colvill Office Properties are renting office space, while Bruce Wallace and Radkey Jolink at CBRE are looking for retail tenants.
