Police found an old military weapon at a house in Nassau Bay Wednesday.
A citizen is said to have found a "bomb" around 4:40 pm. In a renovated house at 18200 blocks of Hereford Lane. The police said the object was found inside the wall.
The Nassau Bay Fire Department was called on site with the Bay Area Regional Bomb Squad. According to the police, the area around this soldier was evacuated, but the surrounding house or road was not affected.
The bomb team secured their weapons to containment vessels and placed them in a safe place. The police said it was unclear how this soldier was blocked by the wall and who was responsible.
