Two members of the Texas State Assemblyman Houston area made the final on Tuesday evening when there were no candidates with multiple votes.
In House 148 in Houston, Democrats Anna Eastman and Republican Luis La Rota took the lead shortly after the poll at 7:00 pm. Not to be confused with a current Harris County commissioner, Democrat Adrian Garcia was third. The results remained the same at midnight when Harris County reported 8 percent of the polling places.
With all jurisdictions reported in Fort Bend County, Democrat Eliz Markowitz led six Republican challengers to the lower house of the 28th district. Gary Gates and Tricia Krenek were in second and third place respectively.
