Nawaz to remain hospitalised as health remains unstable

LAHORE: On Monday, doctors treating former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif refused to fight Pakistan's Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), pointing out serious health risks.

Nawaz, who was admitted to a service hospital almost a week ago and is being treated under the supervision of the special medical committee of the facility, reduced the number of platelets once a day, and the number decreased from 45,000 to 25,000.

According to the Special Medical Commission, the number of platelets has decreased due to the treatment of heart disease after taking the drug for a heart attack. But the doctor gave him a drug with increased platelet count.

Doctors recommend keeping the PML-N reader in the hospital until platelet counts are normal. He added that he had serious health problems.

Doctors said they could not move Nawaz from the hospital.

Separately, PML-N Supreme treatment has become a major challenge for medical committees, as steroid administration to increase platelet levels worsens conditions in terms of blood pressure and diabetes.

Doctors pointed out that focusing on the heart and kidneys reduced the number of platelets in Nawaz, but instead increased interest in heart and kidneys when interest turned into platelet counts. His renal test was unsatisfactory, so the treatment for the heart stopped.

The doctor added that when the platelet count was 25,000, he could not give medicine for heart conditions and was worried because of the heart and platelet count.

According to sources, doctors decided to conduct a full body scan, which is expected to reveal all affected body parts.
