More than 80 immigration counters in LAHORE – Kartarpur Corridor have arranged timely cleanup procedures for many Indian pilgrims who are expected to visit the holy shrines of Pakistan.
According to the agreement signed between Pakistan and India last week, a total of 5,000 Indian pilgrims visited each day to visit Guwar Warar Dar Barsahir, where Guru Naak spent 18 years.
Pilgrims returning to India will be routed through designated gates, the Sunday Tribune Express reported.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) sends a list of pilgrim clearances to the Indian border army 10 days before arrival. The report said it would arrive by scanning its passport before arriving at Grdwara Darbar Sahib under the protection of Pakistan Rangers.
Pilgrims in Pakistan and India will undergo a biopsy before entering Guarwara Dar Barsaiv. They said they would be able to get out of the same doorway they used for entry during the verification process.
Pakistan Rangers officials said they would raise $ 20 from each pilgrim at Zero-Point.
Pilgrims must leave at 5 pm the same day. Darbar Sahib has no pilgrims. However, pilgrims said they would not be restricted from reentry after going through customs clearance.
The 6 km long corridor connects the Temple of Dra Baba Nanak in Punjab, India and Dabar Sahib, Kartarpur, just 4 km from the international border located in the Naro Ural district of Punjab.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan will officially begin the Karthpur corridor on November 9, ahead of November 550th anniversary of Guru Nanak's birth.
