The late night Whataburger run is open to most Texas people, but it's not a hamburger that a person stopped at a popular fast food joint in Houston on Monday night.
According to Lieutenant Lar. Crowson of the Houston police station, the man was shot at a North Loop 610 East gas station near his home path at midnight after being renovated in a parking lot. At some point during the change, a man sitting in the car pulled out a gun, fired it, hit the victim in his arm, Crowson said.
Then ran away to a nearby burger restaurant. Mr. Crowson helped passers find a police officer patrolling near the intersection, found him at a restaurant, and helped apply tourniquets until a Houston fire department paramedic arrived.
The policeman handcuffed and detained the man behind the patrol car, but it is not clear if he is a sniper. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be fine.
