Modi has played his last card by revoking occupied Kashmirs

Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Friday that Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, had "played his last card" by degrading the autonomy of occupied Kashmir and stressed that residents of the disputed region will not accept the decision.

"Narendra Modi made a mistake, he has played his last card," he told participants of an event of & # 39; human chain & # 39; held in Islamabad to express solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.

He said Modi believes that the people of occupied Kashmir will accept the decision to revoke Article 370. "He [Modi] He does not know that what the people of Kashmir have faced in recent decades has eliminated the fear of death among them. Tens of thousands of Kashmir people will not accept the decision and will leave when the curfew is lifted, "he added.

Prime Minister Imran said that the people had gathered today to deliver a message to the people of occupied Kashmir that the Pakistani nation is with them. "We will continue to remind the international community that eight million humans have been locked up in Kashmir," he promised.

The prime minister regretted the wall-to-wall coverage of Hong Kong's protests by international media, and the relative silence surrounding the treatment of the people of Kashmir.

"I want to highlight the issue of double standards since Kashmir is not part of India and Hong Kong is part of China, but the coverage ratio of the Kashmir people is much lower compared to the issue of Hong Kong," he said. .

"Our movement is for the human rights of the people of Kashmir; God willing, it will be massive," the prime minister added.

His speech came after a large number of people gathered in the capital after Friday prayers to form a & # 39; human chain & # 39; from D-Chowk to Radio Pakistan Chowk in a show of solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir. Prime Minister Imran joined the chain as he passed through the prime minister's office.

Addressing the event, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information, Firdous Ashiq Awan said the prime minister had promised the people of Kashmir would approach each and every one of the forums to highlight their plight.

The message delivered by the prime minister with his participation in the human chain was "connectivity – from one hand to another and one heart to another."

"The chain was formed to shake the silence of the global community and international media," he said, adding that Prime Minister Imran had once again told the world that the Pakistani nation will continue raising voices for Kashmir.

"The human chain will finally break the chains and prisons of the Kashmir people."

The people of Kashmir have been living under curfew conditions for more than two months.

Earlier on Thursday, PTI chief organizer Saifullah Niazi had ordered party workers to approach D-Chowk to form the human chain.

In a message, Niazi had said that the people of Pakistan would send a clear message that they are with the people of occupied Kashmir and will continue to support them.

"We will inform the world about the atrocities of the Indian army and we will play our part in giving freedom to the people of the occupied valley," he said.
