Sri Lanka surprised Pakistan by 35 races in the second Twenty20 international in Lahore on Monday.
The visitors set a goal of 183 races for Pakistan to save the series, but the hosts were eliminated by 147 with one to spare.
Rajitha sent Fakhar Zaman (6 runs) back to the pavilion, while Pradeep took the gate of Babar Azam (3 runs) in the third and fourth overs, respectively. The eighth inning of the tickets was the most disastrous for the host team, as Hasaranga dismissed Ahmed Shehzad (13), Umar Akmal (0) and Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed (26) in the third, fourth and sixth ball.
Udana took Imad Wasim's wicket (47) in 16, while Pradeep sent Wahab Riaz (7) back on the last ball of 17. Udana also dismissed Shadab Khan (0) on the first ball of 18, while that Pradeep sent to Asif Ali (29) and Mohammad Hasnain (1) in 19.
Earlier, Bhanuka Rajapaksa hit an aggressive half-century maiden when visitors made 182-6 against Pakistan.
The 27-year-old left-hander, playing only his second T20I, threw 77 of 48 balls in an inning with six six and four limits after Sri Lanka won the pitch and hit.
Rajapaksa added 94 for the third wicket with Shehan Jayasuriya, who made a 34 of 28 balls with four limits.
Sri Lanka maintained the same team that bothered Pakistan, the world's number one T20 team, in the first game for 67 races on Saturday.
The Green Shirts, who had never lost a T20 series in six attempts with Sri Lanka before today, brought the pacemaker Wahab Riaz and starter Fakhar Zaman instead of Iftikhar Ahmed and Faheem Ashraf.
The third and final match will be played in the same place on Wednesday.
