New York (AP) — Four men considered homeless were brutally attacked and killed in New York City shocks.
Detective Annette Shelton of the New York Police Department said Saturday that the fifth man is deadly after hitting a metal object.
The attack occurred near Manhattan's Chinatown.
Police responded to a 911 call just before 2:00 am with a single assault.
All victims were attacked in three places in Chinatown.
Police say a 24-year-old suspect is being detained but not yet charged.
The victim's identity was not disclosed.
