The legendary cricketer Madhav Apte, Dronacharya of Indian cricket, an expert for many cricketers in India, died this morning at 6.09 in Mumbai. He was 86 years old. Recently, autobiography was published in English and Marathi. He performed seven tests in India with an average of 49.27 for the Led Mumbai to Ranji title in 1961-62, 1958-59, and only known cricketers played with DB Deodhar.
