The anti-terrorism court was hearing incidents related to providing treatment to terrorists and summoned the metropolitan mayor in this regard.
At the hearing, the ATC judge informed Geo News that he did nothing despite being the mayor of the city, disciplining Waseem Akhtar.
The court said in its findings that the passport has been provided to the market for official visits and should be handed over if it is no longer in use.
The court then detained the Karachi mayor's passport.
