Trump visited Twitter to announce a marvelous move and said he was resigned from Bolton today.
… . I asked John this morning, asking me to resign. Many thanks to John for his service. Next week we will nominate a new National Security Advisor.

The tycoon said he will nominate Bolton's successor next week.
Bolton said he offered to resign on Monday.
I offered to resign last night and President Trump said, "Let's talk tomorrow."

John Bolton was nominated for a post in March 2018 and Trump announced his appointment on Twitter, the same forum he used today.
