In this case, the customer is served food at the Parrys branch of the Murugan Idli store for 7 days. The customer seems to have reported the worm to the Food Safety Department through WhatsApp's claim that food contains worms.

The worm was identified when the food safety manager went to the Parrys Murugan Idli store and tested the food samples. Later, officials surveyed the restaurant preparation center in Ambattur, delivering food to 23 branches throughout the city. After the discovery of preparing food in an unsanitary environment, the center was temporarily sealed.

Since then, the Food Safety Department has temporarily sealed the preparation facilities of the Ambattur Murugan Idli Restaurant. The food safety department asked the Murugan Idli store manager to explain the preparation of unhealthy food.
