I bought Asus ROG Phone 2 and now I want to get the most out of this amazing gaming feature. Asus surprisingly sold a lot of accessories, making ROG Phone 2 a great gaming partner. But it's not cheap, so what should you buy first?<\/p>\n

We tried all the accessories of the ROG Phone 2.<\/p>\n

The game comes first<\/h2>\n

How about the game before entering the accessories? On Google Play (and if you're outside Fort knight<\/em> Player) works on ROG Phone 2, but some are specifically developed to take advantage of the hardware and software features of the phone. Enjoy the right game before buying accessories.<\/p>\n

Asus has a list of games that support 120Hz screens, offering impressive gameplay at 120 frames per second. It's not a complete list, but there's a lot to go on. Especially Fort knight<\/em> and PUBG Mobile<\/em> It's missing and fixed at 60 fps by default. If the game you play is not on the list, don't be so sad. The 120Hz screen on ROG Phone 2 still makes games running at 60fps or 30fps look better than phones with less displays.<\/p>\n

Other games include in-game special offers. Asphalt 9, Rockman X Dive<\/em>, Shadow gun legend<\/em>. Also these three are Kunai controllers, TwinView Dock or Dark gun<\/em> and Rockman<\/em>Both are supported.<\/p>\n

No, this will not allow you to play the game better, but it will help your phone to survive for a short time and it will look great. The case slides from the back of the phone, covering the top and bottom of the device, leaving the sides open. When you turn on the clip, ROG Phone 2 will apply a special theme to your device and the RGB lights on the back will shine through the Republic of Gamers logo. Even the camera flash unit lights up with a matching color.<\/p>\n

It's an add-on if you want to convert ROG Phone 2 into a portable game console with physical control on your phone. When connected, it looks similar to the Nintendo Switch and can be removed and used wirelessly. The phone enters a thin skeletal frame and is connected to the controller via a USB Type-C connector. There is no delay even if the phone and Kunai controller are connected in this way.<\/p>\n

Games that natively support Kunai controllers are currently limited. Asphalt 9: Legend<\/em> It's fun to do that. It's more like a real gaming experience than using a touch screen and you'll be happy if TouchDrive is active. However, using it with games that do not support Kunai can cause problems.<\/p>\n

Most games with touch screen controls can be configured to use Kunai using the key mapping option in the slide-in menu. It's a bit confusing to use at first, but once you've learned how to modify the controls, you can easily configure the game. But the gaming experience varies. E.g R type<\/em> It doesn't respond well to analog joysticks and it's much easier to play games with a touch screen.<\/p>\n

If you play asphalt<\/em> or Shadow gun legend<\/em>This allows you to get the most out of your Kunai controller. If not, you can wait and other games are developed with native support so you can wait before starting any game. It may be the most versatile of all accessories, and its functionality is not limited to one or two games, so more people can use them.<\/p>\n

An expensive accessory, the TwinView dock is still an interesting feature added to ROG Phone 2. It has a 6.59 inch, 120Hz touch screen, a second large capacity 5,000mAh battery and a built-in fan to keep your phone cool. Like Kunai controllers, game support Asphalt 9<\/em> and Shadow gun legend<\/em>; But the experience is really great. The touch screen is isolated on the phone screen and gameplay is displayed on the screen of TwinView Dock 2.<\/p>\n

If the game doesn't play, you can play the YouTube screen on the second screen, or display the content of an app installed on ROG Phone 2, and you can do a separate action on the phone screen. Limited only by the ability to display apps in landscape orientation. The internal cell keeps your phone charged, so you don't have to worry about running out of battery. It also comes with its own zip-up carrying case.<\/p>\n

It's a fun accessory, but the price is very high and current game support is limited, making it hard to recommend TwinView Dock 2 to anyone who doesn't play a supported title.<\/p>\n

The last part of the recommended ROG Phone 2 game puzzle is the WiGig display dock. The WiGig Display Dock turns your phone into a game console that you can play on your TV. You can connect the dock to your TV using an HDMI cable and then play all your games on the big screen via a very fast 60Ghz Wi-Fi link with your phone. Very simple to use and up and running in minutes. Using ROG Phone 2 has a big advantage as there is no additional setup.<\/p>\n

Asus didn't notice at all when choosing a game with no latency (at least 20 milliseconds minimum) or a promise. It's best to use it with Kunai controllers for a more tactile game console style experience, but it's also available on touch screens. However, it is ideal for landscape games, not for vertical scrolling or portrait games.<\/p>\n

You can take full advantage of the ROG Phone 2 paired with the WiGig Display Dock, but it's actually compatible with your smartphone, which improves usability at home. $ 330 is not cheap and faces competition from existing game consoles and services like Google Stadia and Apple Arcade. But it's an easy and quick way if you've really invested up to the point where you want to see a larger display in your mobile game.<\/p>\n

Even if you choose only one accessory for ROG Phone 2, we recommend Kunai controllers, which will help you to create a more versatile and enjoyable gaming device. Enjoy!<\/p>\n
