LAHORE: The versatile Pakistani Mohammad Hafeez has ruled out his reservations about the renewed national cricket structure in the country.<\/p>\n
The new system in operation consists of only six teams compared to 16 of the previous structure, without the participation of the departments.<\/p>\n
Now only 192 players are eligible to play in the first and second class XI events, but the changes made have also caused the unemployment of up to 800 players and administrative staff.<\/p>\n
In response to the video of the news package circulating on Twitter, in which one of the affected cricketers Fazal Subhan is telling his story, Hafeez tweeted: "So sad really, as he and many others are suffering, the new system will take care 200 players but 1000 cricketers and administrative staff are unemployed due to this new model. I don't know who will take responsibility for this unemployment from the cricket fraternity for all victims. "<\/p>\n
More interesting, the Pakistan Cricket Board had said that the new system will help the national circuit get rid of the old players. However, many players, who have passed the age to be considered for international cricket, are still part of the circuit that raises the question of whether the changes are fulfilling the purpose of the PCB.<\/p>\n
Ultimately, it has blocked the way many young people arrive nationally to showcase their talent.<\/p>\n
