Two coordinated explosions of improvised explosive devices (FDI) in the Khezai Chowk area of \u200b\u200bQuetta killed a rescue worker and injured 10 other people Thursday night, police said. <\/p>\n
According to police officers, the first FDI was shot in the office of a transport company in the Khezai Chowk area. When police, rescuers and mediators gathered at the site, the second FDI exploded. <\/p>\n
Liaqat Shahwani, a spokesman for the Balochistan government, confirmed the number of victims.<\/p>\n
Six police officers, including two officers, and Dunya TV<\/em>Reporter Ibrar Ahmed and camerman Rehmat Ali were also among the injured, he added.<\/p>\n The injured were taken to several hospitals in Quetta for treatment.<\/p>\n This is the fifth explosion that has taken place in Quetta in the last four weeks. <\/p>\n On August 16, four people died after a loud explosion shook a motherssah in the Kuchlak area on the outskirts of Quetta. Another 22 were also injured in the explosion that took place after Friday's prayers.<\/p>\n On August 6, a man died and another 13 were injured in a bomb blast at a shoe market near the busy Meezan Chowk. The dead and some wounded belonged to the Shiite Hazara community.<\/p>\n On July 30, another attack occurred near a police station in which five people died and another 30 were injured.
