Another Pakistani citizen died due to \u201cfalling debris\u201d following the interception of a ballistic missile in the United Arab Emirates, the country’s media office said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
This development marks the third case of a Pakistani citizen losing his life in an attack in the United Arab Emirates during the ongoing war between Iran, the United States and Israel.<\/p>\n
The Abu Dhabi press office, in a statement on<\/p>\n
"The incident led to the death of a Pakistani national,” he said.<\/p>\n The Pakistani Embassy in the UAE, in a statement on Day X, expressed sadness over the death and said it was in \u201cclose coordination\u201d with local authorities.<\/p>\n The embassy said it will provide \u201call possible support to the grieving family\u201d and added that it will \u201cfacilitate the repatriation process as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n "In this hour of grief, we share the family’s pain and offer our deepest condolences and prayers,” the statement added.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the UAE’s Defense Ministry said its air defenses were "responding to missile and drone attacks originating from Iran.”<\/p>\n The ministry confirmed that the \u201csounds heard in scattered areas across the country are the result of air defense systems intercepting ballistic missiles, as well as fighter jets intercepting loitering drones and munitions.\u201d<\/p>\n In light of the current situation, the Dubai Media Office has published a safety guide.<\/p>\n On March 8, a Pakistani driver was killed when \u201cdebris from an aerial interception\u201d fell on a vehicle in the Al Barsha area of \u200b\u200bDubai late in the day.<\/p>\n
