US President Donald Trump said: <\/strong>Even if Washington had known that Iran would attack the Gulf countries in retaliation, the United States would still have waged war against Tehran.<\/p>\n "‘Gosh, I should have known?’ It’s not the same question. And it would be a big deal if we knew. I mean, we have to do what we have to do,\u201d Trump said at a White House event.<\/p>\n Noting that several Gulf countries are under attack by Iran, he added: "Saudi Arabia, suddenly Kuwait is under attack. Kuwait is under attack. Bahrain is under attack.
