South Africa captain Aiden Markram also wanted to bat. He felt that practicing gun setting would have benefited them, considering three of their last four wins have followed in the T20 World Cup. There were three changes in South Africa as well. Markram noted that the players have been given a break ahead of the semi-finals later this week.
