U.S. President Donald Trump ordered all federal agencies to immediately stop using all Antropic technology, adding that there would be a six-month phase-out for agencies such as the Department of Defense that use the company’s products.<\/span><\/p>\n

"I am directing all federal agencies in the United States government to immediately cease all use of Anthropic technology. We do not need it, we do not want it, and we will never do business with them again!” Trump said in a post to Truth Social on Friday:<\/p>\n

Trump’s directive comes amid a feud between the Pentagon and Anthropic, a leading artificial intelligence research institute, over concerns about how the military could use AI in warfare.<\/p>\n

An Anthropic spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n
