The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Sony is developing an animated film about Venom, and industry insider Daniel Richtman later reported that Sony was targeting X or an R rating. The project will be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, who recently directed the hit horror film. <em>Final destination: Bloodlines<\/em>. As with the live-action Venom adaptation, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach will produce this animated film alongside Tom Hardy.<\/p>\n<p>With this project, Sony continues to embrace animated Marvel movies following the success of the Spider-Verse films. Each of these features took four or five years to create, so it will be a while before we see Lethal Protector on the big screen again.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s still too early to tell whether this Venom movie will be a success. The movie fails to capture the true horror of an alien force infecting people&#8217;s bodies, causing them to hurt and even eat them.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, we got a few scenes of Venom biting people&#8217;s heads off in the movie, but the character&#8217;s goofy, comedic antics made it difficult for us to take him seriously. The level of horror, violence, and gore he was able to unleash with an R rating would have helped differentiate his character from Spider-Man. This would also have been the perfect way to differentiate the Venom franchise from the more benign Marvel Cinematic Universe.<\/p>\n<p>Not long after <em>venom<\/em><em> <\/em>Premiere, we watched together<em> deadpool <\/em>and <em>logan <\/em>That terrible R-rated comic book movie could be a huge hit at the box office. Considering the studio&#8217;s recent roster of animated films, it&#8217;s likely that these films will feature the repetitive style pioneered by . <em>Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse<\/em>. The 2018 film gained a lot of recognition for its vibrant comic book-inspired visuals, which helped it win the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. If this worked for Spidey, it would definitely work for Venom.<\/p>\n<p>As live-action comic book adaptations continue to permeate pop culture, an animated Venom movie should provide a fresher experience for moviegoers hungry for something new. Sony has revealed plans to reboot its film industry after its disastrous performance. <em>Morbius<\/em>, <em>Madame Web<\/em>and <em>Kraven the Hunter<\/em>. If an animated Venom movie is part of this new status quo, we could see a more faithful adaptation of Venom&#8217;s origin story with Spider-Man playing a major role. <\/p>\n<p>In the comics, Venom is the result of journalist Eddie Brock&#8217;s bond with Spider-Man&#8217;s discarded alien costume, creating a fearsome villain bent on revenge against the hero who accidentally fired him. However, Hardy&#8217;s version of Venom is not related to Spider-Man, and his alien character lacks the white spider emblem inherited from the web-thrower.<\/p>\n<p>With Sony going back to square one, the studio has the opportunity to return to Venom&#8217;s dark roots. But we&#8217;ve already seen Eddie Brock become the evil Venom in the movie. <em>spiderman 3<\/em>So we don&#8217;t have to retell his origins in the movie. good night <em>Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/em> or <em>Fantastic Four: First Step<\/em>We get to go through the backstory and follow Eddie long after he becomes Venom and crosses paths with Spider-Man. <\/p>\n<p>The webslinger doesn&#8217;t have to have a big role to be successful in the movies. However, Sony failed to deliver on the Hardy and Spider-Man\/Venom crossovers after years of build-up. Even when Eddie decides to go find Spider-Man, his plan is all but forgotten. <em>Venom: The Last Dance<\/em>A lackluster conclusion to the franchise. To regain the favor of fans, Sony must deliver on its promise and finally tie the stories of Venom and Spider-Man together.<\/p>\n<p>Giving this ongoing animated project an R-rated picture is the perfect way for Sony to revitalize its hit Venom franchise. Audiences will see a darker, more terrifying Venom, closer to the character that captivated fans in the comics. Combine this with Spider-Verse&#8217;s animation style and you have a unique and thrilling film.
