A group of foreign media correspondents in Pakistan visited the Control Line (LoC) on Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, the military media wing said, while tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi continue to be raised by the Indian movement to revoke the special autonomy of occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n

Journalists reporting to foreign media organizations were informed about the regional situation and the ceasefire violations of India throughout the LoC "deliberately attacking the civilian population," said a tweet from the Director General of Public Relations between Services (ISPR), Division General Asif Ghafoor.<\/p>\n

The correspondents also freely interacted with the locals in AJK, the tweet added.<\/p>\n

He noted that Kashmir occupied by the Indians, meanwhile, "remains locked under the curfew that hides Indian atrocities."<\/p>\n

Major General Ghafoor also shared video clips and photos that show foreign journalists receiving an information session and interviewing local residents.<\/p>\n

Munir Ahmed, correspondent of the Associated Press<\/em> based in Islamabad, grateful<\/a> DG ISPR for inviting foreign journalists to visit, saying that it helped them "understand the situation in the LoC, where Pakistani and Indian troops are" an eye for an eye. " <\/p>\n

"We approached a place from which Indian publications could be seen without using binoculars," the journalist said in a tweet. <\/p>\n
