Yesterday, actor Irrfan Khan passed away in Mumbai after battling medical complications stemming from a colon infection.<\/p>\n<p>Partner <em>Loving Akbar Anthony<\/em> Actor Amitabh Bachhan tweeted about Rishi&#39;s passing:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  w-full  w-full  media--stretch  media--uneven media--embed  \">\n<\/figure>\n<p>Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also tweeted his condolences:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  w-full  w-full  media--stretch  media--uneven media--embed  \">\n<\/figure>\n<p>In May 2019, Rishi had confirmed that he did not have cancer after he was first diagnosed with the disease in 2018. However, <em>Hindustan Times<\/em> reported that the actor entered hospitals in rapid succession in February.<\/p>\n<p>Rishi has been part of successful movies like <em>Coolie<\/em>, <em>Laila Majnu<\/em>, <em>Sargam<\/em>, <em>Bol Radha Bol<\/em> and countless others.
