NEW DELHI: Videocon Mobiles has launched its latest 4G smartphone, Cube 3 (V50JL) in India. Priced at Rs 8,490, the smartphone will be available in all retail stores.
\nVideocon has also partnered with
\nTrust for the Jio welcome offer that allows customers to get a free Jio sim with data, voice calls, SMS, and a host of Jio apps through December 31, 2016.<\/p>\n

The Cube 3 (V50JL) comes preloaded with the SOS-Be Safe emergency response app that has alert, walk with me and be on time features. The power button on the smartphone works as a
\nSOS and can be customized to send GPS location alerts to a user's friends. Walk with me sends a user's location at regular intervals to emergency contacts. Finally, being on time sends an alert if a user has not reached a particular destination at the designated time.<\/p>\n

In terms of specifications,
\nVideocon Cube 3 (V50JL) features a 5-inch HD screen with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels protected with Dragontrail glass on top. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor.<\/p>\n

Videocon Cube 3 (V50JL) offers 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by installing microSD cards. The dual-sim smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies.<\/p>\n

With a 3,000 mAh battery, the smartphone offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as the main connectivity options.
