The convention will be held next year from July 22, 2021 to July 25, 2021. <\/p>\n<p id=\"QO2lJb\">Comic-Con, also known as SDCC, will run from July 23 to July 26. Those who have already purchased the badge for the convention can request a full refund or send the badge to Comic-Con 2021. Deposits are also refunded to customers who have booked a hotel through onPeak, a service used in partnership with SDCC. <\/p>\n<p id=\"r7Icgd\">Organizers said, &quot;The Governor of California has continuously monitored health recommendations and recent statements, making it clear that it is not safe to push forward this year&#39;s plan.&quot; <\/p>\n<div class=\"c-float-right\">\n<aside id=\"DfbFLC\"><q>&quot;I need special measures at special times, and I know it&#39;s a sad but correct decision to take these measures&quot;<\/q><\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p id=\"fFUL3q\">The San Diego Comic Con is a major boom in the city. In 2018, over 130,000 people attended and similar numbers were reported in 2017 and 2016. <\/p>\n<p id=\"yYKocL\">SDCC is the latest large-scale event to be canceled due to a new coronavirus epidemic. South by Southwest was canceled at the end of February.
