A fire in southern California caused the "best red flag warning". <\/p>\n

This warning issued by the Los Angeles Meteorological Agency applies to Los Angeles, Ventura and San Bernardino Counties.<\/p>\n

The wind is already approaching 70 mph (113 km \/ h) and there is a risk of getting a 658 acre fired Getty fire.<\/p>\n

About 1,100 firefighters are on fire and thousands of structures are in danger, authorities said.<\/p>\n

At least eight houses were destroyed in Getty Fire, and five other houses were named art works nearby. About 15{7be40b84a6a43fc4fae13304fce9a2695859798abfc41afd127b9f8b21c5f9c5} of the fires were isolated.<\/p>\n

The wind blows early on Wednesday and continues until Thursday.<\/a>Predictors warned that they could reach the top speed of the season.<\/p>\n

The weather agency said, "This Santa Ana wind event will be the strongest we've seen this season."<\/p>\n

"These strong winds, along with a single digit of humidity and dry fuel, will result in a long fire situation that will result in a severe red flag warning."<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Ralph M Terrazas, chief of fire, said he was very concerned about the wind threat.<\/p>\n

"It takes about 1 January and 1 January to start another brush fire."<\/p>\n

Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti said that more than 7,000 residents who have so far evacuated should not plan to return home until the situation is safe.<\/p>\n

Basketball star LeBron James and actor transition politician Arnold Schwarzenegger are among the people who have evacuated the house. <\/p>\n

On Tuesday, James sent a taco truck to feed several firefighters fighting the Getty Fire. <\/p>\n

The Getty Center, which houses a large collection of art, is also at risk. <\/p>\n

The museum said in a tweet that this art was "protected by cutting-edge technology" and that the safest place is inside.<\/p>\n

Officials say the Getty Fire was probably caused by a tree branch falling on a strong wind front.<\/p>\n

There have been forest fires in several weeks over the past week. Kincade Fire in northern California burned more than 75,000 acres.<\/p>\n

Thousands of people were not powered as the company cut off electricity to prevent more fires. <\/p>\n

Currently contains about 15{7be40b84a6a43fc4fae13304fce9a2695859798abfc41afd127b9f8b21c5f9c5} of fires. More than 80,000 homes are still threatened by fire.<\/p>\n
