Aurora is carefully asking if Angelina Jolie, the currently restrained fairy godmother, can go to see her parents. Watching Maleficent prepare for a meeting by practicing basic coordination, such as smiles and small conversations, is so much fun that I don't want to see the movie's spooky wizard through the entire battery of marriage planning. The first movie, a box office hit, was confusing but the star's charm was one of them. Unfortunately not present on the screen these days, Jolie has taken the role perfectly, dominating her everything with the Norma Desmond command and the cheekbones that can thin the neck.

The character was rooted in the melodrama star of the 50s. In 1959, Marc Davis, an animator of the Disney film, also carved Crella de Vil. Like Jolie, forming a team with a powerful piper, the Queen quickly transforms into a bitter enemy of Malepicent; the "Mistress of Malice" was likely to summon the tastes of Joan Crawford and Beth Davis.

But as Joachim Ronning (“The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Don't Talk”) replaced Robert Stromberg, the film became too complicated. Instead of aiming for the elemental simplicity of fairy tales, the "Mistress of Malice" is filled with the politics and details of the struggle of the fairy and the human. Splendid, impressive computer spreads across the palace grounds.

Every franchise film fights against the wall when they find a story and hopes something changes. Not only is this annoying, it also sacrifices the light that each other, Jolie and Pfeiffer, where we first came from. However, all the components needed for the crash (Dark Fail, a group of exiled winged creatures, including Cheftel Ejiofor) secured enough screen time with Jolie & # 39; s Maleficent.

The plot of "Maleficent" comes mainly from the original redemption of the classic Disney villain. But it did not really follow the possibility of assimilation.
