{"id":8752,"date":"2019-10-16T15:24:56","date_gmt":"2019-10-16T10:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/umang.pk\/2019\/10\/pakistani-woman-makes-it-to-bbcs-100-women-of-2019-list\/"},"modified":"2019-10-16T15:24:56","modified_gmt":"2019-10-16T10:24:56","slug":"pakistani-woman-makes-it-to-bbcs-100-women-of-2019-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umang.pk\/en_us\/2019\/10\/16\/pakistani-woman-makes-it-to-bbcs-100-women-of-2019-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistani woman makes it to BBC\u2019s 100 Women of 2019 list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"552\" height=\"279\" src=\"http:\/\/umang.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Pakistani-woman-makes-it-to-BBC\u2019s-100-Women-of-2019.png\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-post-image\" alt=\"\" style=\"margin:15px\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>HAZARA \u2013 Jalila Haider, a Hazara woman from Pakistan, was recently named one of the 100 women in 2019 collected by the British Broadcasting Corporation.<\/p>\n<p>Haider, a human rights lawyer, protects women&#39;s rights in Pakistan and provides free legal services to poor women.<\/p>\n<p>She is also the founder of We the Humans, a non-profit organization that works with the community to provide opportunities for vulnerable women and children.<\/p>\n<p>According to the BBC, she is the first female lawyer in the Hazara community and started a hunger strike in 2018 to protect people.<\/p>\n<p>Haider expressed great pleasure in being listed on the social networking platform Twitter and said it was an honor to represent Pakistan on the list.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWow, I&#39;m honored to be part of the @ BBC100women list 2019 in Pakistan. Parveen Ahanger @_APDP also congratulations.
