{"id":7606,"date":"2019-10-10T10:34:18","date_gmt":"2019-10-10T05:34:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/umang.pk\/2019\/10\/soldier-martyred-in-indian-ceasefire-violation-ispr-pakistan\/"},"modified":"2019-10-10T10:34:18","modified_gmt":"2019-10-10T05:34:18","slug":"soldier-martyred-in-indian-ceasefire-violation-ispr-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umang.pk\/en_us\/2019\/10\/10\/soldier-martyred-in-indian-ceasefire-violation-ispr-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"Soldier martyred in Indian ceasefire violation: ISPR &#8211; Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/umang.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Soldier-martyred-in-Indian-ceasefire-violation-ISPR-Pakistan.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A Pakistani army soldier was martyred when the Indian army resorted to ceasefire violations of the entire control line (LoC), the army media wing said Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting also left a civilian dead and 14 others injured, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The troops of the Indian army resorted to the violation of the ceasefire in the Baroh and Chirikot sector [the] LoC [As a result] Sepoy Naimat Wali embraced martyrdom, \u201dPublic Relations Between Services (ISPR) said in a statement. <\/p>\n<p>The Chirikot sector is located in Azad Jammu and the Haveli district of Kashmir (AJK). <\/p>\n<p>In response, the ISPR said, Pakistan army troops attacked Indian posts, damaging them &quot;substantially.&quot; There were reports of casualties of Indian troops, the statement said.<\/p>\n<p>It was believed that the soldier was martyred on Wednesday night, when two civilians, Perveen Akhtar, 50, and his daughter Saba Tariq, 15, were also injured in the Seerhiyan village of the Chirikot sector. <\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, the Neza Pir sector of Haveli District suffered heavy Indian bombings of 3 p.m. at 6 p.m. and consequently, two women, Naseeb Khan, 40, and Robina Bibi, 16, were injured in the villages of Bala and Kairni Chahjal respectively, the police officer Khalid Mahmood said <em>Dawn<\/em> from the area  <\/p>\n<p>Also on Thursday, the Indian army resorted to the &quot;unprovoked&quot; bombing in the Neelum district after sunset, which left an 8-year-old boy, Faizan Mir, dead and his parents, Fayaz Mir and Zahida Bibi, injured in the village of Changan Seri, they said. Akhtar Ayub, a disaster management officer based in the headquarters of the Athmuqam district. He added that the family&#39;s house was burned to ashes. <\/p>\n<p>Six other people were injured in the main village of Changan along the Neelum Valley road. <\/p>\n<p>They were identified as Muhammad Din, his wife Asiya Bibi and their children Asad Mir and Anjum Bibi; Khalid Mir, Habibullah Mir and Malik Tufail. <\/p>\n<p>The houses of Muhammad Din and Malik Tufail were also destroyed, according to the official. <\/p>\n<p>Ayub said that since the bombings in the Neelum valley continued, it was feared that the casualties would increase. <\/p>\n<p>In the Poonch district, three people were injured in the Tetrinote village of Tehsil Hajira. They were identified as Ajmal, 55, Sughra, 15, and Zahira, 13. <\/p>\n<p>Two houses, owned by Chaudhry Muhammad Hussain and Muhammad Shafi, were also damaged by the Indian bombings. <\/p>\n<p>An official in Abbaspur Tehsil of the Poonch district said intermittent shelling was also occurring in his area, but there were no immediate reports of victims.<\/p>\n<p>Condemning the new ceasefire violations by Indian troops, Prime Minister of AJK, Raja Farooq Haider said the Indian army had crossed all limits of &quot;shamelessness and cowardice.&quot; <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Almost nowhere in the world is there an army that delights in tearing down unarmed men, women and children while they are busy in their normal lives.
