      The engineering and construction divisions of Fluor, JGC and TechnipFMC are jointly investing in the construction of a $ 30 billion liquefied natural gas export terminal in Mozambique, South Africa.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Under a consortium called JFT, three companies signed engineering, procurement and construction contracts to build liquefied plant, Lovan Bar LNG, in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Although financial terminology has not been disclosed, Rovumba LNG is a liquefied natural gas export project led by major Exxon Mobil in Texas and Eni in Italy.<\/p>\n

      "We worked closely to develop a project model based on the strengths and capabilities of each party to partner with MRV to advance this landmark project in a safe, secure and sustainable way." Mark Fields said in a statement.<\/p>\n

      The Mozambique government approved Robuma LNG development in May.<\/p>\n

      Apart from Exxon Mobil and Eni, other project owners include China National Petroleum Corp., which owns a 20{7be40b84a6a43fc4fae13304fce9a2695859798abfc41afd127b9f8b21c5f9c5} stake, and the remaining three (10), respectively, the Portuguese Galp Group, the Korea Gas Corporation, and the Mozambique National Energy Company. .<\/p>\n

      The proposed export terminal is just one of Mozambique's two major liquefaction projects, and is expected to take natural gas produced off the coast of East Africa and export it to customers worldwide.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Mozambique LNG, a project originally developed by Woodlands oil and natural gas company Anadarko, was sold to a total of $ 8 billion in French oil, which closed in September.<\/p>\n
