The Australian government says a British-Australian woman and an Australian boyfriend have been released from Iran.<\/p>\n

Jolie King and Mark Firkin, all with British passports, were arrested earlier this year for flying drones without permission in Tehran.<\/p>\n

The second British-Australian Kylie Moore-Gilbert is still in prison.<\/p>\n

Australian Foreign Minister said negotiations for release are underway.<\/p>\n

Marise Payne told reporters that being able to announce that Jolly King and Mark Perkin were "freed back" was "severe relief."<\/p>\n

The couple were detained after entering Iran as part of a major trip to Britain through Asia. They have written blogs for thousands of followers on social media.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Payne is known to have been sentenced to 10 years in prison for nearly a year.<\/p>\n

    "Very long term negotiations" are underway to ensure the release of Cambridge education disciplines, Payne added.<\/p>\n

    Mrs. Moore-Gilbert was most recently a lecturer in Islamic studies at the University of Melbourne.<\/p>\n

    Fars, Iran's anti-official news agency, reported that Islamic judicial spokesman Gholam Hossein Esmayeeli confirmed that he was detained to monitor all three. <\/p>\n

    Two British-Australian women have in recent years been considered double holders of British passports without nationality. <\/p>\n

    Their detention is equal to the detention of a British Iranian mother or Janin Zag Hari-Latcliffe, who was convicted of imprisonment since 2016.<\/p>\n

    On Friday, Mrs. Zag Hari-Latcliffe announced that her daughter Gabriela (5 years old) would return to England to attend school. <\/p>\n
