producers to pull the league back, reducing the number of active oil and gas drilling rigs across the country for seven consecutive weeks.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- text --><\/p>\n<p>The U.S. launched 855 oil and gas rigs this week and has been the lowest since A.[Ro;BakerHughesNorthAmericareducedthenumberofleaguesin2017byfivetimesoverlastweek[ro;2017anddownbyfivefromlastweekaccordingtotheBakerHughesNorthAmericarigcount[ro;BakerHughesNorthAmerica\uc758\ub9ac\uadf8\uc218\uc5d0\ub530\ub974\uba74\uc9c0\ub09c\uc8fc\uc5d0\ube44\ud5742017\ub1445\ubc30\uac10\uc18c\ud588\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4[ro;2017anddownbyfivefromlastweekaccordingtotheBakerHughesNorthAmericarigcount<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- text --><\/p>\n<p>Texas led the decline again, taking the net four leagues out of service. Oklahoma picked three. New Mexico, meanwhile, added four more leagues this week.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- text --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Last week: Texas oil and gas sector contract as league numbers decreased<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>    <!-- text --><\/p>\n<p>Texas oil and gas activity has declined in recent quarters as the sector continues to strengthen in the midst of slowing across the industry.
