The network has officially ordered &#8216;Stewie&#8217;, a standalone animated series focusing on the long-running comedy show&#8217;s mischievous baby genius Stewie Griffin.<\/p>\n<p>Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will return to voice Stewie and will also serve as an executive producer on the project. However, Deadline reports that he will appear as a recurring character.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Family Guy&#8217;s Stewie Spinoff Release Date and Streaming Plans<\/h2>\n<p>Fox has ordered two seasons of the series from the start, and the show is currently planned for the 2027-2028 TV season.<\/p>\n<p>Family Guy and Seth MacFarlane&#8217;s other Fox animated series, American Dad, have both already been renewed through 2029, and Stewie&#8217;s new two-season order falls right in line with that schedule.<\/p>\n<p>When Stewie premieres, it will air on Fox and stream on Hulu in the US the following day.
