      Houston producer Dinerstein turns camera into Heaven & # 39; s Gate<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      About a year ago, Ross Dinerstein, a filmmaker and developer who was born and raised in Hosuton, loved \u201cThe Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in the Small Town\u201d. The Netflix series was based on the John Grisham book. There were about two murders in the town of Ada, Oklahoma in the 1980s.<\/p>\n

      At the time, Dinerstein said, \u201cThere are other projects in the hopper, but at the time they could not be explained in detail. But he admitted that streaming television provided an opportunity to develop stories that might not have been mentioned otherwise.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      \u201cIt's a busy and exciting time,\u201d he said. "For documentary: I think this is the golden age."<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      This week, he announced that CNN Films will be airing a new trilogy series on the upcoming HBO Max. Next year, the \u201cGate of Heaven\u201d will tell the story of religious worship and mass suicides that took place in 1997. The event is strange and terrible than the short synopsis can convey.<\/p>\n

      Dinerstein grew up in Houston and attended Kinkaid. \u201cI and my family are very much in Houston.\u201d<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Here he grew to love good storytelling and began to think of filmmaking as a career in college. He spent time in film development in New York before settling in Los Angeles, and continued to root in Houston Astros while raising loyal children to the Los Angeles Dodgers.<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      The \u201cinnocent man\u201d has made great strides and Dinerstein has shown that he is willing to use the available materials and to be a producer when something else is improvised. The scene reenactment of the film felt far from the old TV reenactment of "Unsolved Mystery."<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      "Replay, the word is very taboo," he said. But \u201cMy whole pitch was to make a movie-like story. I wanted to shoot in a way that looked like a movie to make something different from the Unsolved Mystery. So we used the same crew that we used for feature films. The idea was to have a bad shape or shape in some way. \u201d<\/p>\n

      \u201cThe Innocent Man\u201d fits the theme of \u201cHeaven & # 39; s Gate\u201d, a legacy of justice. \u201cHeaven & # 39; s Gate\u201d \u2013 a plot full of conspiracy, but Dinerstein says \u201ca flawed criminal justice system\u201d Start yesterday with content you didn't say. \u201d<\/p>\n
