{"id":11880,"date":"2019-11-04T23:32:55","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T18:32:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/umang.pk\/2019\/11\/pakistan-army-vows-to-continue-supporting-national-institutions-pakistan\/"},"modified":"2019-11-04T23:32:55","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T18:32:55","slug":"pakistan-army-vows-to-continue-supporting-national-institutions-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/umang.pk\/en_us\/2019\/11\/04\/pakistan-army-vows-to-continue-supporting-national-institutions-pakistan\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan Army vows to continue supporting national institutions &#8211; Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/umang.pk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Pakistan-Army-vows-to-continue-supporting-national-institutions-Pakistan.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The high command of the armed forces expressed on Monday the resolution to continue supporting the national institutions &quot;when requested&quot;. <\/p>\n<p>The resolution was transmitted during a Conference of Corps Commanders chaired by the Chief of the General Army Qamar Javed Bajwa in GHQ today.<\/p>\n<p>Public Relations between Services (ISPR) said in a statement that the meeting reviewed the &quot;national and geostrategic security environment.&quot; Among the topics of discussion were internal security, the situation along the eastern border and the Control Line and Jammu and Kashmir occupied by the Indians. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Pakistan Army as [an] State body will continue to support national institutions when requested according to [the] Constitution, &quot;the press release told the army chief.<\/p>\n<p>General Bajwa added that while the Pakistan Armed Forces with the support of national institutions and the nation are &quot;fully prepared and committed to thwart all threats&quot;, including at the eastern border and the LoC, &quot;the continuous cohesion of all national stakeholders in key national issues is essential to defeat the enemy forces. &quot; <\/p>\n<p>Commanders during the meeting expressed their firm determination to defend the country against the full spectrum of threats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have achieved better internal security and stability through national efforts and cohesive sacrifices made by the Armed Forces of Pakistan, all national institutions and, above all, the nation. &quot;We will not let it reverse to fit any personal agenda at any cost,&quot; said the army chief.<\/p>\n<p>The military&#39;s statement comes days after opposition leaders, including the head of the JUI-F, Fazlur Rehman, and the president of PML-N, Shehbaz Sharif, alleged during the ongoing march of Azadi that the PTI ruler has undue support from the &quot;institutions.&quot; <\/p>\n<p>This led Major General Asif Ghafoor, general director of ISPR, to question on national television what &amp; # 39; institution &amp; # 39; the opposition was referring in his speeches.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Rehman had said that DG ISPR &quot;should not be involved in politics.&quot; <\/p>\n<p>&quot;When we don&#39;t want a clash with the institutions, why has DG ISPR tried to push the army institution into a clash with the people?&quot; the JUI-F chief had said while talking to the media.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/pre>\n<\/pre>\n<p>Source: https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1514888\/pakistan-army-vows-to-continue-supporting-national-institutions<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The high command of the armed forces expressed on Monday the resolution to continue supporting the national institutions &quot;when requested&quot;.
