      The popular Austin coffee spot Summer Moon rented space at Cinco Ranch's 19901 Kingsland Boulevard. Ryan Moonson, Houston licensee of Summer Moon, said in a prepared statement that "Katy is her hometown and in this high-growth area I knew that Summer Moon wanted to enter Houston." Richardson grows up and lives in Katy. He will debut sometime this month at Wood Coffee Coffee Destination. According to the statement, \u201cThe founding family of the summer months wanted to bring American authenticity to coffee that was almost out of the American coffee culture. "Using bricks, fire and oak to make a customized coffee roast keeps craftsmanship in trade and prides itself on family business."<\/p>\n

      Tomball's famous Tejas Chocolate + Barbecue got a tribute to smoked meat on Tuesday and debuted the Tejas Burger Joint at Tomball's 214 W. Main. Until permission from TABC, the current BYOB Inn features "Old Town Burger" with mushrooms, grilled onions and Swiss cheese. There is also a restaurant Tejas To Go Market, which opened in 2018.<\/p>\n

      Houston Chronicle Food Critic Alison Cook's Top 100 list is out. Spoiler Warning: First place was led by upper Kirby's Kata Robata, award-winning Houston chef Manabu Horiuchi. \u201cI knew Houston sushi had changed forever when I first sampled the immaculate dish of chef Manabu Horiuchi, who returned from Kubo & # 39; s in 2002,\u201d Cook says. "Chef Hori is still setting the pace at Kata Robata. (He) is attracting fierce talents to collaborate on hot food parts that are often neglected in menus. And chefs often come from Japan and come up with ideas like wagyu katsu. Gets "pH" or Sandwich-incredibly luxurious on home-made milk bread. "<\/p>\n
