A Pano Aqil tehsil prayer leader from Sukkur was arrested on Thursday for allegedly raping a ten-year-old girl.<\/p>\n
Sukkur police registered a case against the suspect who directs the prayers in a mosque in the village of Dildar Samejo.<\/p>\n
"We arrested the mosque's prayer leader after he was accused of raping a 10-year-old girl and filed a case against him," said Sukkur's SSP, Irfan Samoon.<\/p>\n

The girl used to take lessons from the Holy Quran from the prayer leader, she said.<\/p>\n The minor, narrating the incident, said that when she arrived at the mosque's premises for her lesson, someone told her that the teacher was calling her. "When I went to see him, he closed the door and the window, grabbed me, covered my mouth and held my arms."<\/p>\n The girl's father told her DawnNewsTV<\/em> that the suspect had "subjected the girl to rape several times."
