The PESHAWAR-Sarhad Chamber of Commerce (SCCI) and Small and Medium Business Development (Smeda) have agreed to establish a CPEC and Investment Promotion Center to address business community issues and provide boost through joint coordination of relevant government departments. Industrialization of the provinces.<\/p>\n

The agreement was reached Monday at a meeting of MaQsood Anwar SCCI and Jamed Iqbal Javed Iqbal. Senior Vice President of the meeting, Shahid Hussain, Executive Vice President, Sherbaz Bilour, former Vice President Haris Mufti, Chief of the Smeda Region, and Rashid Aman attended the meeting. At this meeting, Maqsood said the proposed investment promotion center will play a pivotal role in solving business community problems and will also promote the industrialization of the province. He said that a committee of senior officials from relevant departments and stakeholders from the private sector will be formed to succeed the proposed initiative.<\/p>\n

He also explained that a web portal will be launched that aims to contact or connect directly with relevant government departments to address business community issues in a friendly and prioritized way.<\/p>\n

The SCCI representative said that all government line departments agreed with the proposed idea for a single-window operating facility to accelerate industrialization and co-ordinate the problem of traders. However, he said that representatives from relevant government departments, along with the formation of senior civil service committees, should discuss business community issues with each other and take immediate action to resolve them. Mr. Iqbal agreed with the Maqsood SCCI chairman's proposal at the event and urged the chamber to play a central role in the successful implementation of the proposed initiative.<\/p>\n

He suggested that the MoU be signed and focused among all relevant government departments. He informed that Smeda will work with SCCI to devise a framework for the successful implementation of the proposed initiatives and to take all relevant government departments on this important step.<\/p>\n

He said the idea of \u200b\u200bestablishing the CPEC and Investment Promotion Centers is a good initiative to address the business community's problems at the SCCI level in a timely and urgent manner.<\/p>\n
