A foreign ministry spokesman said Turkey rejected the US House's resolution on the Armenian claim.<\/p>\n

"We reject today's HR 296 resolution, titled" Confirmation of US Records of Armenian Genocide, "which was adopted by the US House of Representatives to represent the House of Representatives," the statement said. 1915.<\/p>\n

Previously, the House of Representatives passed a resolution acknowledging the so-called "Armenian genocide", and lawmakers voted 405-11.<\/p>\n

"Resolutions drafted and issued for domestic consumption have no historical or legal basis," he said.<\/p>\n

It said the proposal was rejected by the Armenian side.<\/p>\n

"This resolution will negatively affect the image of the US House of Representatives before Turkey's public opinion," he said.<\/p>\n

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also ruined the big game with \u201c#OperationPeaceSpring on Twitter, after approval of the resolution.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Turkey launched an Operational Peace Spring to remove terrorists from Syria east of the Euphrates River, protecting the Turkish border, supporting the safe return of Syrian refugees and ensuring Syria's territorial integrity.<\/p>\n

Turkish President spokesman Ibrahim Kalin has also criticized the resolution on Twitter.<\/p>\n

"The Armenian resolution in the US House of Representatives is one of the most perplexing examples of using history as a political tool."<\/p>\n

"People who accuse Turkey of massacre should first look at their history and the blood history of the Asala and PKK terrorist groups."<\/p>\n

Founded in 1975, the Armenian terror group ASALA is responsible for hundreds of bloody terrorist attacks. In a decade, more than 30 Turkish diplomats and civil servants were killed in various attacks.<\/p>\n

Registered as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union in more than 30 years of terrorist campaigns against Turkey, PKK is responsible for 40,000 deaths, including women, children and infants. YPG is a Syrian derivative of PKK.<\/p>\n

Turkey's stance on the event in 1915 was when the Armenian death in eastern Anatolia revolted against the Ottoman army by Russian invasion. Since then, the Armenian migration has caused many casualties.<\/p>\n

Turkey opposes the presentation of this incident as a "collective mass", but explains that the 1915 incident was a tragedy where both sides suffered casualties.<\/p>\n

Ankara has repeatedly proposed the establishment of a joint committee of historians from Turkey and Armenia to investigate the matter.<\/p>\n
