We may want to protect our feelings, they may like us, we may want compassion, or we may want to hide information that may affect our opinions. Some people are addicted to lies, so even if they know the reality, they do not hesitate to lie. Conversely, if many people lie to save someone, they consider the right behavior. But after all a lie is just a lie.

The fact is If you talk to someone for 10 minutes today, it's possible that one of you has lied at least once.. If that person is your mother, the probability of lying will increase dramatically. Even if we are incredibly honest people, it's fun but true. There are few white lies that do not notice what we say every day. For example, how many times do you ask someone how you are doing and when you are not good at all, do you respond with “Good!”?

Lies are a huge part of our lives, from small novels to haughty deception stories that fit Hollywood. This info graphic from Full Tilt Poker investigates exactly how we lie and how we feel about him.

Conclusion of the survey:

Last month 15% of people admit that they lied at workE. 59% of them did not feel guilty (“printer jam? I had nothing to do”). Cultural expectations for lying depend on your job. 94% of people expect doctors to lie in their work, not 27%.

When we lie, it stimulates three main parts of the brain. Lies activate the frontal lobe, which is responsible for the process of suppressing the truth, the limbic system caused by deception anxiety, and the temporal lobe, which retrieves memories and creates mental images. It's like a sophisticated team of crooks working together in your head. Is there no comfort?

Do you know interesting facts about lies?

One. Americans lie on average seven times a day in January, Compared to the average four. You can guess what the three additional lies are, in general, the diet after the holiday, the holiday details and how the holiday actually went.

2. People have more letters than face to face. We mostly have the least people, by email, chat or text message. In writing, you do not have to worry about mannerism, it is less personal and guilty.

three. Recent studies have shown that he trusts more bearded men than men who are cleanly shavedHigher charisma and reliability. We are less likely to think that a bearded person is stretching the truth.

4. Lies don't come naturally. In a study conducted in 2008, researchers found that 100% of participants showed signs of real feelings when asked to hide their true feelings. This does not happen naturally lies, nor does it occur in large pools of different types of people. source:

Psychology Journal and Survey – Infographic

Take a look at this infographic to see more facts and figures from the psychology journals and surveys about lying at work, school and poker tables.
