The suicide squad early reactions critics say James Gunn’s dc movie is ‘super violent and extremely funny. Here’s our first reaction to James Gunn’s DC movie The Suicide Squad. Critics have described the long-awaited soft reboot of Suicide Squad in 2016 as entertaining and violent but heart-warming.

New characters for The Suicide Squad include Bloodsport, Peacemaker, The Thinker, Blackguard, Polka-Dot Man, Savant, Arm-Fall-Off-Boy, Ratcatcher, King Shark, Weasel, and The Javelin, Idris Elba, John Cena, Peter is postponed. Capaldi, David Dastmalchian, Michael Rooker, Nathan Fillion, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee (with Sylvester Stallone voiced), Sean Gunn, and Flula Borg respectively.

Viola Davis, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney return with the roles of Amanda Waller, Harley Quinn, Rick Flag and Captain Boomerang respectively.

Collider’s Steven Weintraub tweeted, “Absolutely loved #thesuicidesquad. This movie is very violent, very entertaining, and a lot of fun for @JamesGunn and #DC. Lots of surprises and things I wasn’t expecting. Just It’s a great movie.” IGN’s Eric Goldman tweeted, “Yes, I loved #TheSuicideSquad. It’s all just jolly and hilariously commotion, bloodshed, abusive language, and lewdness, but then there are some really heartfelt moments you can invest in. And I loved the whole cast very much.”


Fandango’s Erik Davis tweeted, “I had the best time watching #TheSuicideSquad. It’s the fence-wielding kind of comic book movie and I love it. It’s big, bold, and visually stunning. James Gunn’s horror roots go through the whole thing. You can see it scattered around the corner. It’s violent, but it’s hilarious. It’s angry and very sweet.

Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com tweeted, “#TheSuicideSquad is absolutely crazy. Violent, vile, and unforgivable as hell. James Gunn was completely liberated. Sometimes it’s overwhelming. It has every moment of mind, humor, action, emotion, and more. cruel. Nothing. Damn it!” Suicide Squad is set to open in US theaters on August 5, 2021.
